CU STARS
Who are the Stars?
To encourage savings at an early age, we have a special group called the CU Stars - our members from infancy through age 17. Open accounts for children and grandchildren with us.
Star Birthday Special: When a Star makes a $25 deposit to his or her existing share account during the Star's birthday month, the Credit Union will add an additional $5 to the account.

Term Share (CD) Accounts
A $500 minimum balance will open a term account. See our share rate page for current rates.

New Baby Accounts
From birth through age 6 months, the CU will deposit $5 in a new baby's account when it is opened with a $5 deposit. Social Security number required.

Student Loans
Federal Subsidized and Unsubsidized Stafford Loans. Federal Plus Loans for Parents.

Coverdell Education IRA
Save for higher education costs with this special IRA that is not for retirement but for educational use. Currently the maximum contribution per year is $2000.

Scholarships
Meridia offers two $ 750 scholarship awards every year. Applications are available in January. Please check our newsletters for the latest information on scholarships.
